This is my first empties post! I was going to do one in February, but didn’t have enough empties! I like to read other people’s monthly empties posts, because you can discover new products and find out what works and be inspired!
Benefit They’re Real Tinted Primer
I have purchased this 3 times now! I can’t put mascara on now without wearing it; it just doesn’t feel right without it! It is mink brown in colour, so you can use it as a natural looking mascara, or put a coat of black mascara over the top. It work’s very well with the ‘They’re Real’ black mascara.
Benefit ‘Gimme Brow’
I have the lightest shade which is for blonde hair. Even though it is meant for blonde hair it is still quite dark (I have dark blonde hair so it works well for me!). I love all of Benefit’s eyebrow products, but this is my favourite! It works very well for me; I have already repurchased a new one.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Lip Balm
This lip balm is from the ‘8 Hour’ range by Elizabeth Arden. This lip balm is from a small gift set I received at Christmas. It’s designed to provide moisture for 8 hours, so I used it as a night lip balm. It was like any other lip balm to be honest; I have used cheaper ones before which were just as good! I wouldn’t repurchase this as there are cheaper alternatives.
L’OREAL Telescopic Mascara
Sorry, I forgot to add it to the picture above! I got this mascara in my Latest In Beauty subscription box- click here, if you would like to see my review of the box. I like mascara’s which have a plastic wand rather than a bristle brush; this mascara has a thin plastic wand which I love. This is the second time I have purchased this mascara.
Bath & Body
Baylis & Harding Hand Cream
I go through a lot of hand cream! I have used Baylis & Harding products before; they do a wide range of products and everything always smells so good! However, this hand cream isn’t one of those products! It’s supposed to smell of coconut & lime, but I can hardly smell anything! It also isn’t moisturising and it upset my skin. Disappointed!
Radox Vapour Therapy Bath Salts
I love to use a bath bomb when I have a bath, but I like to use bath salts instead sometimes. These bath salts smell so nice! I think I got around 6 baths out of this packet. The best things about these salts are the price; I bought these for £1 from Pound Stretchers! I would buy these bath salts again without hesitation.
Superdrug Nourishing Bath Crème
Naming it ‘bath crème’ makes it sound posh! This is a bubble bath, but it’s a little thicker than usual. It smells of shea butter, vanilla and almond…it smells so nice! The only negative is that you have to use quite a lot to get a decent amount of bubbles; it is cheap though so it doesn’t really matter.
Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion
I have been using this lotion for sooo many years! I like to stock up when it is on offer- buy one get one free is the best! I use this twice a day: I use it in the morning to refresh my face, and at night time to remove my face make up. Just make sure you don’t put it near your eyes, it really stings! This product works perfectly for me, I hope they never discontinue this product!
Urban Veda Soothing Hydrating Toner
I got this toner from one of my Latest In Beauty subscription boxes. I haven’t heard of this brand before; it would be interesting to find out what other products they do. It contains 14 botanical ingredients to help balance the skin. It smells amazing thanks to all the natural oils. I would repurchase this toner.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
I have probably repurchased this product around 10 times now! I use this to remove my eye make up, and the lotion to remove my face make up; this is a routine I have been doing for a long time now. I would like to try a different micellar water, but I worry none will be as good!
Frizz Ease 3 Straight
This is the heat protection spray I use all the time! I just love John Frieda hair products, especially the Frizz Ease collection. Even though it is quite a small bottle it does last quite a while. This is my favourite styling spray to use when I straighten my hair. It keeps my hair mostly straight even when it has been raining a little bit.
Frizz Ease Flawlessly Straight Shampoo
I did have the conditioner as well, but I always end up finishing the conditioner before the shampoo! On the bottle, it recommends using all the Frizz Ease products together to get the best results. I really like the smell of these products! The shampoo lathers up well and cleanses my hair nicely. I have repurchased these products many times.
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moisture Conditioner
This is my go to deep treatment conditioner! It is recommended you leave the conditioner on your hair for 3 minutes, but I like to leave it on a little longer for extra nourishment! My hair always feels so soft after using this! I would definitely repurchase this.
